‘Kidchella’ returns to Danville

DANVILLE – Back by popular demand for its 2nd year, the Town of Danville and the Danville Library are excited to continue empowering children to read, make art, and appreciate music with Kidchella: A Children’s Reading & Music Festival! Get immersed in this summer series that features many interactive opportunities well suited for kids from infant – 6 years old.

This fun and exciting free family event is set for Wednesdays June 20, July 18, and August 8, 2018 from 11:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Danville Library and on the Town Green, 420 Front St.

Located in the Library’s Children’s Reading Room

Children’s Musical Entertainment on the Town Green

June 20
Octopretzel
This folk band plays whimsical and fun acoustic music with an underlying sensitivity for nature, feelings, and story.

July 18
The Raytones
Alongside their mascot, Ray the Rhino, this band loves to rock out, have a ball, and play cool
music!

August 8
Adam Gottstein
Solo singer/songwriter playing acoustic originals and timeless favorites for children.

12:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Music-themed crafts and Story Walk on the Town Green
The Arts & Rec on the Go van will be on site to lead fun games for the whole family.
