San Ramon Police investigating bomb threat at veterinary center

SAN RAMON – Police are investigating after a bomb threat was reportedly called into the Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center Friday morning.

At around 11:30 am, police received a report that an unidentified male subject called the veterinary center and asked for the receptionist by name. While on the phone with the receptionist, the caller said there was a bomb inside the business.

Employees immediately contacted police and began to evacuate the business.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene to standby while police investigated. As of 12:20 pm, police were unable to locate any threats or hazards in the building and the fire department cleared the scene.
