Juvenile arrested after San Ramon Police locate stolen vehicle

SAN RAMON – A juvenile from Dublin was arrested Tuesday evening after police located a stolen vehicle near Santander Drive.

Police say around 7:00 pm Tuesday they received a report that a vehicle had been stolen between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. Shortly after, a citizen called police reporting they had spotted the vehicle, occupied by multiple juveniles, on Santander Drive near San Ramon Valley Blvd.

Officers arrived, initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, and detained all 5 juveniles inside the vehicle.

San Ramon Police Sergeant Nathan Jones said one juvenile from Dublin was placed in custody. He was later released to his parents after being transported to the police station.
