Duo arrested by San Ramon Police for burglarizing vehicles Wednesday

SAN RAMON – Two 24-year-olds were arrested Wednesday morning after citizens reported a vehicle burglary in the Target parking lot.

At around 10:30 am Wednesday, San Ramon Police received reports from citizens that a vehicle burglary had occurred in the Target parking lot. One of the callers provided vehicle and suspect descriptions to officers.

During the investigation, police located a vehicle and suspects matching the caller’s description. Officers also located property belonging to victims of vehicle burglaries in the Panera Bread parking lot and a parking lot in Pleasant Hill.

According to San Ramon Police Sergeant Nathan Jones, 24-year-old Patrick Freeney of Oakland and 24-year-old Antwon Johnson of Union City were both booked in the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Freeney was also arrested for violating probation.
