Video: Flare gun fired at several San Ramon homes Saturday night
SAN RAMON – Police are searching for a vehicle seen on surveillance video launching lit flares at homes on several streets in San Ramon Saturday night.
Police say at least five residences on Yosemite Avenue, Estero Drive, Aptos Way, and Cree Ct were targeted Saturday night.
A surveillance system from a nearby residence during captured one of the incidents on video. The images show a vehicle, possibly an older model Nissan Sentra, drive down the street, slow down and launch several flares in the direction of nearby homes.
Authorities say the incidents were reported between 10 pm and 1 am Saturday night.
Danville San Ramon Updates Twitter followers were notified of the incidents when we broke the story on our Twitter page at 8am Sunday morning.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect vehicle or has information about the suspects is being asked to contact detectives who are investigating the incidents at (925) 973-2779.
