Bank Robbery Suspect Sought in San Ramon

Officers from the San Ramon Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank in the Marketplace Shopping Center (Inside Nob Hill Foods).

The suspect, a black male in his 20s, reportedly handed the teller a note stating that he was armed and demanded money. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt with black shorts. He took cash (less than $500) from the teller before he fled on foot.

After a helicopter and canine search, the suspect was not found. The incident is still under investigation

Update March 23: The San Ramon Police Department announced Wednesday they arrested a suspect for allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo Branch in ‪#‎SanRamon‬ Nob Hill Foods earlier this month.

The suspect, 23-year-old Bay Point resident David M. Beardon, is being held Martinez Detention Facility. His bail is set at $100,000 bail, despite taking less than $500 in the robbery.
