Primo’s Pizza Fundraiser
Primo’s Pizzeria & Pub will be hosting a fundraiser for Javier this Saturday. From 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, 50% of dine-in, take-out and delivery orders will go directly to support Jake’s medical care and rehabilitation. Primo’s will be blocking off their entire front parking lot to serve pizza out of a wood burning pizza oven. The Fretful String Band will be performing all afternoon before DJ Rick Flores takes the stage from 5 pm until closing. Jake Javier began working at Primo’s in February of 2014 as a busser before earning a food server position at the restaurant. His two brothers, Jason and Cameron, also have experience as employees at Primo’s.
MV vs SRV Basketball Fundraiser
Before or after you dine at Primo’s, head over to the JaviStrong Basketball Fundraiser at 5 pm in the Monte Vista High School gym. The Monte Vista Mustangs, 2014 State Basketball Champions will host the San Ramon Valley Wolves, 2015 State Champions in a highly anticipated basketball game to raise money for Javier’s recovery fund. The event is free but donations are welcome and will go directly toward the expenses of Jakes recovery.
