August Fundraisers Aim To Support Jake Javier’s Recovery

A series of fundraisers set for this month aim to raise money for Jake Javier, a former San Ramon Valley High School senior who became paralyzed at a Danville pool party the day before his graduation.

Primo’s Pizza Fundraiser

Primo’s Pizzeria & Pub will be hosting a fundraiser for Javier this Saturday. From 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, 50% of dine-in, take-out and delivery orders will go directly to support Jake’s medical care and rehabilitation. Primo’s will be blocking off their entire front parking lot to serve pizza out of a wood burning pizza oven. The Fretful String Band will be performing all afternoon before DJ Rick Flores takes the stage from 5 pm until closing. Jake Javier began working at Primo’s in February of 2014 as a busser before earning a food server position at the restaurant. His two brothers, Jason and Cameron, also have experience as employees at Primo’s.
