Worker airlifted after fall at Alamo Creek construction site in Danville

UNINCORP DANVILLE – A 28-year-old construction worker was airlifted after suffering an 8-foot fall at a construction site.

At approximately 10:39 am Saturday morning, firefighters at San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Station 36 were advised by a citizen that a construction worker was unresponsive after falling at the Alamo Creek construction site, in unincorporated Danville / Tassajara.

Firefighters immediately responded to the reported location and found a 28-year-old construction worker injured but awake on Charbray Street.

Paramedics treated the man for a possible spinal injury. A CALSTAR air ambulance landed nearby and transported the patient to a local hospital.

The Alamo Creek neighborhood is located near Creekside Elementary school, east of the Danville Town limits.
