Suspects Lead Danville Officers on 20-Mile Pursuit to Orinda

Danville Police Department had their hands full last night when officer Emily Neabeack found an occupied stolen truck towing a trailer near Blackhawk. They pursued the vehicle down residential streets until it made it to the highway 680, then 24. It finally terminated in Orinda when the driver and two passengers bailed out of the car. Unfortunately for the driver, he was greeted by the bite of the Danville PD’s K9 Ronnie, and both passengers & driver were taken into custody at gunpoint. The driver was an 16 year old from Antioch. The pursuit is being applauded, as the chase was handled very well by Danville PD. The pursuit involved the STAR3 Sheriff’s helicopter, CHP airship, Danville & San Ramon K9s. Listen to the radio traffic from the pursuit. Officer Neabeack is highly regarded within the Danville Police department. She received an award for her police work earlier this year.
