Danville Police investigating package thefts on Valley Creek Lane

DANVILLE – Police are seeking to identify suspects responsible for package thefts reported Thursday afternoon near downtown.

The package thefts were reported on Valley Creek Lane at around 2:15 pm, police said.

Authorities have a photo of one of the suspects and are asking the public’s help to identify him and the other suspect (not pictured), who is described as a tall, slender young adult or juvenile male.

Neighbors reportedly confronted the suspects when they were seen stealing packages, but the suspects fled the scene.

Police say anyone with information should call 9-1-1.
