BLACKHAWK – A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of suspects involved in a series of burglaries in Blackhawk during August and November.

At around 7:30 pm Friday, the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office received a report of a residential burglary in the 5400 block of Blackhawk Drive in Blackhawk, a gated community in east unincorporated Danville.

Deputies arrived and found evidence of a burglary. A San Ramon Police K9 worked to track the scent of possible suspects near the golf course area, but no suspects were located.

During their investigation, deputies found that suspects had entered the residence and took personal property and valuables, according to a Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.

Authorities say the suspects match the description of suspects responsible for previous burglaries in Blackhawk. The suspects were also captured on home surveillance and obtained by investigators (see below).

In August, two suspects were caught on home surveillance during a separate residential burglary in Blackhawk. Three houses adjacent to a nearby golf course were burglarized during that month. Last week’s burglary also took place at a residence adjacent to the same golf course and only a few residences away from a home burglarized in August.

The Blackhawk Homeowners association is offering the $25,000 reward for the suspects’ apprehension and conviction.

Anyone with any information on this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Blackhawk Police Services at (925) 736-1018 or the Office of the Sheriff Investigation Division at (925) 313-2600.
